This studio lighting class will teach about photographic lighting, modelling techniques and assignments for paid, freelance photographic work
Aim
This is a Diploma level subject and is intended as an extension to Advanced Lighting 1. You will learn more about; photographic lighting, modelling techniques and assignments for paid, freelance photographic work. Students will explore more specific lighting techniques/control, and build studio sets salient to the student’s interests and areas of interest. Each class will have variable outcomes relative to participant’s interests and skills.

Duration
9 weeks of 3 hour classes. Students should expect to do an extra 6 hours a week of their own work.
Required Materials
DSLR or Mirrorless camera that enables full manual control. A film SLR camera may also be used.
Remote flash trigger.
Students will supply their own film, output, extra props and models as required.
