In this course students will develop their photographic portfolio, with an emphasis on exploring various photographic styles. Students will begin to extend their conceptual and technical knowledge with their photographs.

Aim
In this course students will develop their photographic portfolio, with an emphasis on exploring various photographic styles. Students will begin to extend their conceptual and technical knowledge with their photographs. Historical and contemporary practices will be discussed. Students will be encouraged to explore various techniques and ideas associated with the medium with an emphasis on the cross-fertilization of disciplines.

Duration
9 weeks of 3 hour classes. Students are expected to do extra research and extra photographic work in addition to class time.
