Register your interest in a social darkroom club, with a preferred time and frequency of meetings. The club will have a small subscription fee to cover materials costs. Your registration will help us find a format that works for the most people.
With the help of architectural photographer (and super enthusiastic Darkroom Guy) Cameron Longshaw, we would like to start a darkroom club.
It will be a time and place to practice and talk about darkroom techniques and projects of your own and of others. This will be a social group without any formal teaching, ideal for graduates and non-students, and of course any passionate darkroom practitioner.
Anybody with an interest in anything film will be welcome to come. It's open to experimental darkroom projects, straight technical works, and everything in between.
The when is still being discussed, but the where is confirmed at the CCP darkroom. Most likely we will meet once every two weeks for about eight meetings. We'll see what works for participants.
If you could please register your interest with your preferred frequency of meet-ups, and preference for weeknight or Saturday meetings, that will help us a lot to gauge interest and to settle on a small subscription fee to cover materials.
Hope you can join us and create some interesting pieces.
