The Centre for Creative Photography’s Alumni Association is for students and graduates of the Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging course.
The Alumni will support the CCP’s mission in “promoting the highest level of creative photographic practice… helping people explore their career options and to mastering their craft, while developing their artistic talents in search of their career…”
The purpose of the CCP Alumni is to provide Diploma students and graduates with the resources and support to continue their professional and personal development within a creative and collaborative environment, and to further support the CCP’s reputation as an educational institution of excellence.
The benefits of the Alumni membership are designed to provide significant assistance to members in pursuing their practices and careers.
These will include, but are not limited to:
Keeping up to date with current issues and events via an Alumni newsletter.
Networking - expanding personal and professional connections.
Participation in Alumni sponsored programmes and events.
Continued free use of CCP facilities for personal work. Includes use of darkroom, studio, seminar room, library, editing suite.
20% discount for use of CCP facilities for professional work.
Membership of the Independent Arts Foundation.
Member discounts (equivalent to student discounts) at Black and White Photographics, Atkins Photolab, PhotoCo, Graphic Art Supplies and discounts on camera hire at Diamonds. (See website for full list)
Membership of a closed Facebook group for communications, information sharing and event notices.
Membership of an exclusive Instagram group for sharing images.
Use of the Light Gallery at no charge for a biennial Alumni exhibition.
Membership Categories and Subscriptions
Must have completed 14 subjects towards the Diploma of Photography and Photo-imaging course.
Must have competed the Diploma of Photography and Photo-imaging course.
$140 per annum.
Subscriptions will be taken out on a calendar year basis. All subscriptions taken out in 2019 will remain current until December 2020.
