WMA Masters Photography Award
The WMA Masters invites both international and Hong Kong-based image-makers to submit photographic works relating to Hong Kong and this year’s chosen theme, “Light”. The winner will receive a cash prize of HK$250,000 (~$32,000USD); finalists will each receive HK$15,000 (~$1,900USD). Shortlisted works will be exhibited in Hong Kong in spring 2020.

The WMA Commission Proposal
One of the most recognized photography commissions is accepting entries for a new research-based photography project in Hong Kong, focusing on the theme of “Light”. Artists in the international community are invited to submit proposals, which must contextually relate to the theme of “Light” and to Hong Kong. The recipient will be awarded a grant of HK$250,000(~$32,000USD) to go toward the production of their proposal, as well as an event in Hong Kong to showcase their work.
