Des Berwick
Lecturer

Des’s interest in, and passion for, photography dates back to the mid 1970’s when he first studied photography, culminating in him formalising his training as a student at the Centre for Creative Photography where he obtained the Diploma in Photoimaging. He also holds post-graduate public sector management qualifications.

Des is a very knowledgeable digital photography practitioner, communicator and teacher. Since retiring in 2006, he has been sharing his skills and experience within the community as a photography teacher and facilitator.

Des is a member of the Printworks exhibition group, a collective of South Australian photographers who participate extensively, and quite successfully, in international exhibitions. He is also actively involved in the South Australian camera club scene and is an accredited international judge for the Australian Photographic Society. He is also a member of the Judge Training Team of the South Australian Photographic Federation (SAPF). Some examples of Des’s work can be seen on RedBubble.
