The Diploma Photo Imaging enables students to:
Demonstrate a skilled knowledge of photographic practice, theory and history.
Display a specialised proficiency and appreciation of photographic practice, problem solving and resource management.
Transfer and apply technical, creative or theoretical skills to a range of photographic situations.
Appreciate photography from an artistic and commercial perspective as an assistant or professional practitioner.
Apply advanced skills and conceptual development to your photographic practice.
Take responsibility for the design and production of a broad range of photographic images.
Full Time Study:
Full time study requires you to take three subjects per term
At three subjects per term it will take you two years to complete this course (Including the Certificate IV)
Part Time Study:
At one subject per term the qualification will take just over two years to complete.
Students can vary their study load each term.
Fees:
Fees are on a per subject basis and can be paid in full prior to your term or a payment plan can be set up to pay it off throughout the term.

You will need to have completed the Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging (CUA41115)
Diploma Core Subjects
The Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging is comprised of the Certificate IV, plus the four core subjects below marked in blue and five electives marked in orange at the bottom of this page. You can take these subjects as they are available, in any order you wish.
Beyond the basics, Digital 2 takes your Photoshop skills to the next level. Handy for any photographers skill set.
Build confidence in creating compelling images. Look at various aspects of contemporary photographic culture, and how artists have responded to a variety of issues.
Elective Subjects
You will require five electives to complete your Diploma in Photography and Photo Imaging. Two From Group A, two from Group B, One from Group C
