Photography Journals

The Photo Review is a critical journal of international scope. Publishing since 1976, the Photo Review covers photography events throughout the United States and abroad. With incisive reviews, exciting portfolios, lively interviews, the latest in books and exhibitions, The Photo Review quarterly journal has earned a reputation as one of the best serious photography publications being produced today.
Blind Spot magazine is an international source book of photography-based fine art. Published three times per year.
Aperture magazine is published by the Aperture Foundation, a not-for-profit arts institution dedicated to advancing fine photography. The foundation was founded in 1952 by photographers Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Barbara Morgan, and Minor White; historian Beaumont Newhall; and writer/curator Nancy Newhall.
Lens Work focuses on photography and the creative process. The magazine features articles, interviews and photographic portfolios. Claims to be “non-technical and non-academic, with emphasis on the creative aspects of photography”. All images are beautifuly printed in duotone.
