Studio 5 is popular for group portraits, large set-ups or when your crew just needs a bigger work space
The Centre for Creative Photography (CCP) has professional photographic rental studios and darkrooms at our Marleston campus, about 4km southwest of the Adelaide CBD.

Facility hire is intended for professional photographers or amateurs who have extensive studio experience.
Staff will be very happy to orient you to the space and answer questions but are not able to act as studio assistants. We highly recommend contacting a CCP graduate if you are looking for a photographer or assistant (there is a list of CCP alumni here). As well as being trained photographers, CCP students are very familiar with our studios, gear and capabilities.
If possible please visit the studios before booking to get a sense of the space. We will happily give you a tour.
Hire Rates:
Open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday – Friday. After hours and weekends by arrangement.
Times quoted equal any part thereof, including bumping in and bumping out.
For weekend bookings studios are available at double the studio 5 rates only. This is due to staffing costs.
Extra hours may be negotiated depending on studio availability.

Studios 2-4 (25sqm each) 6.5 x 4m

Smaller studios are perfect for individual portraits and product shots

Set paper backdrops in each studio
Reflectors
3 stands per studio
Boom stands
Coffee & tea
Camera tree (for one studio)
Tables & chairs
Studio assistants may be required per the current fee schedule after hours or at other times.
By hiring the studio you will have access to our wide range of gear that makes ours such a flexible space—clamps, ladders, extension cords, fabrics, surfaces and textures, props, portable backdrop systems, tripods, cinefoil, plinths... everything a studio needs.
Bookings:
Studios can be booked online with full payment taken at time of booking. There are no refunds for cancellations however bookings can be rescheduled with minimum 24 hours’ notice. Storage and early drop off of props etc may be charged for.
A clean up fee of $30 will apply for studios not reinstated after use. Any damage beyond reasonable wear and tear will be charged for. All prices quoted do not include GST.
Lighting and Equipment:
Studio rental does not include cameras, lights etc. Most photographers use their own lights so we do charge an extra fee to use our lighting equipment. Payment for lighting can be organised on the day of your shoot.
