“Europhotometeo 2024” International Photography Competition.

The European Meteorological Society announces the photography competition Europhotometeo 2024 (EPM2024).

The Europhotometeo 2024 competition is administered by the EMS in collaboration with the Asociación Meteorológica Española (AME). It is hosted on www.emetsoc.org, and the associated privacy policy applies.

Terms & conditions in short

• The competition is open to any person that would like to participate. Each author can submit one photo, which must have been taken by the submitting author.

• The Europhotometeo 2024 competition offers cash prizes for the top-three photos:
  First Prize:    1000€
  Second Prize: 500€
  Third Prize:     250€.

• The deadline for registration and upload of photos is 15 January 2024.

• Only digital photos specifically related to clouds or other meteorological phenomena taken within 2022 or 2023 will be accepted. When submitting an entry please provide us with a short description of your photo, original resolution, the technical equipment used, the where and when the photo was taken, including the country, all in the English language.

• All submissions to EPM2024 are copyrighted under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence (link: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/); authors can choose a more restrictive licence.
  Photos must not infringe the copyright of any third party, or the right of a person on its own image.

• All photos must be uploaded to the EPM2024 website; registration with the author’s full name and email-address is required.
