The BBA One Shot Award is now open!

The BBA One Shot Award is now open! Submit 1 image of any style, theme, or medium, and be one of 50 photographers featured on a large digital display at the 2023 BBA Photography Prize. Hosted at Kühlhaus Berlin, the group show provides the perfect opportunity to enter the international photography scene. 

Open to all photographers using any medium

• Anyone 18+ can apply - all gender identities and nationalities welcome.

• Only one photograph per entry. We accept pure lens-based, mobile or smartphone camera, AI, film, digital, analogue photography. 

• No restrictions. Any skill level, theme, medium and all subject welcome.

• About the One Shot Award

  • 50 photographers will be selected by the jury, to be exhibited during the BBA Photography Prize at Kühlhaus Berlin on a large digital display.

  • The winner of the One Shot Award will win the prize money of 500€ and an online promotion.

  • A door opener into the international photography market. We get your work seen.

  • What we’re looking for

    Storytelling, visual concept, creative idea, composition, abstraction and artistic sensibilities are just some of the qualities we value. It does not matter what prior photography experience you have, everyone has a unique creative vision, and we want to see your story and your medium.
