A fundamental understanding of photography and manual camera controls plus a love of the seascape is a must.

Required Materials

Please bring your own dinner, or else shops will be available in Victor Harbor. Take plenty of water to drink at Petrel Cove as there are no convenient shops. Adequate weather protection is a must. Either a film or digital SLR camera will be required. A tripod and a cable release/remote trigger is a must. Bring plenty of charged spare batteries, and memory cards or film.

Be prepared for potentially hot or cold conditions where we will be in the sun or rain for at least three hours. Please bring a hat, long sleeve shirt and plenty of sun-screen.

Additional Information

Spend an afternoon/evening photographing along the coastline of Petrel Cove behind The Bluff at Victor Harbor. We will meet at Victor Harbor half an hour before start time, where we will begin to investigate and extend your vision of the seascape.

A map with specific directions and instructions will be emailed to you shortly before the workshop start date.
