Weekly Inspiration: John Divola's Cibachrome Images.

Front and back covers of John Divola book Chroma

We've combed the internet for iso inspiration so you don't have to.

These images sparked our imagination right when we needed it, and we hope you find something in this too, maybe even creating your own versions. The techniques can be made at home, they may involve some trekking out to the woods with some gels and a speedlight in tow, or taking the time to create some effects in Photoshop. Either way, we can't wait to see what you create.

American contemporary visual artist John Divola has launched a new book, Chroma, revealing a body of work from around 1980. The work explores visual metaphors using the rare luxurious printing process Cibochrome, used for the reproduction of film transparencies.

See some of our favourites from this body of work below.
