The Centre for Creative Photography have two scholarships available for talented photographic candidates who may not otherwise be able to study with us. These scholarships are provided by generous members of the community and we are grateful for their contribution to our vibrant community.

Full Scholarship

This scholarship covers the entire amount of a Certificate IV or *Diploma to a person of any age who has a current health care card as supplied by Centrelink. The intention of this scholarship is to allow a promising photographer or artist to study at the Centre for Creative Photography even if financially they may not have otherwise been able to attend.

Requirements

• Applicants must be a current Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident who will be in Australia for the entire duration of their Certificate or Diploma.

• Applicants can choose to complete a Certificate or Diploma part time or full time continuously. Failure to enrol for any term until their award has been completed, will forfeit the scholarship and remaining scholarship amount will be passed onto another applicant.

• Applicants must be committed to completing their award within 2 years.

• Applicants must maintain an academic study rigour and successfully complete all subjects enrolled in.

• Those who have previously received this scholarship for their Certificate IV are eligible to apply and use it toward a diploma.

• Applicants must have, or be eligible for a current health care card provided by Centrelink.

• Applicants will need to submit a current portfolio of ten images photographed with any kind of camera or image capture device, OR a portfolio of non-photographic artworks.

• Portfolio images must be supplied in JPEG format.

• Applicants must have a goal to work towards being a career artist in the photographic genre or within the photographic industry. A written statement outlining career goals must be outlined in their application. Preference given to artists over commercial photographers.

• All decisions on final outcomes are final.

*To complete a Diploma with us you must already have a Certificate IV in Photography and Digital Imaging

Partial Scholarship

This scholarship covers half the amount of a Certificate IV or *Diploma to a person of any age who has a current health care card. The intention of this scholarship is to allow a promising photographer or artist to study at the Centre for Creative Photography if financially they may not have otherwise been able to attend.
