This is a one day course from 10AM - 5PM.

Required Materials

Bring your DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Closed toed shoes are required for the studio. You may also wish to bring a notepad and pen to take your own notes, although you will receive extensive explanatory material.
You will also need to bring your lunch, as there are very few places to buy food near the CCP in Hendon. There are fridges and microwave facilities available for food storage and re-heating.

Additional Information

Have you always wanted to know about studio-based lighting, but have felt intimidated by it? You will find out about your camera, flash synchronisation, how to use a studio strobe, hard and soft light, using wireless triggers, hot shoes and lighting ratios. The ultimate goal of this workshop is to help you understand how the camera “sees” light so that you can work creatively at home with your own studio lights - or a desk lamp and a long exposure!
